David is President of /alert Marketing, a Jobson Healthcare Information Company.
After joining /alert Marketing in 1987 Dave managed a sales territory in the Midwest. Shortly thereafter he assumed sales coverage for the Western Region in addition to his Midwest duties. During this time /alert Marketing added several new services which Dave helped develop.
In 1997, Dave was promoted to the Assistant Sales Manager for /alert Marketing and was named National Sales Manager in 1999. In January of 2000 /alert Marketing was acquired by Jobson where Dave assumed a similar position managing a sales group significantly larger in size. In 2003, Dave was named V.P., General Manager of /alert Marketing which also included responsibilities for Power-Pak Continuing Education. In 2005, Dave was named President of /alert Marketing. During this time /alert Marketing has added additional marketing communication services and employees. /alert Marketing has seen dramatic growth during this period and continues to be a leader in non-personal promotional solutions including the development of cutting edge electronic communications. While leading /alert Marketing, he and the /alert team have been involved in the launch and ongoing promotion of hundreds of new pharmaceutical and biotech products.
Dave is a past President of the Midwest Healthcare Marketers Association and a past board member of the Medical Marketing Association. His educational background includes a BS in marketing from De Paul University and post-graduate work at the University of Chicago School of Business.
